A successful person is one who has become useful to himself and to others (family, friends, community, society, country, continent and why not the world?).
The formula for success can be summarized as follows:
VISION + DETERMINATION + ADVERSITY + PERSEVERANCE = SUCCESS TM
All true successful people have effectively applied this simple formula either knowingly or by necessity. Knowing this formula is not enough to succeed in any undertaking, for its power lies in its effective application. The other interesting fact about the formula is that it is absolutely neutral. In other words, it does not care whether you are poor or rich, whether you are young or old; it does not care about your gender nor your colour.
Even more interesting is the fact that this formula has 3 components that depend entirely on the individual. The only one component that stems from external sources is ADVERSITY. However, every true success story has proven time and again that ADVERSITY yields, just like ice and snow would melt, when faced with a clear VISION, combined with a strong DETERMINATION and a stubborn PERSEVERANCE.
To put this plainly, this formula leaves you and I with no excuses, if we do not succeed.
